Meet a few of our happy  girls...

We have 8 ISA Brown Chickens and 23 Black Minorcas.  They are very busy laying eggs and we are proud to provide a high quality product to our local community.  The girls are let out everyday, early in the morning and go into their coop in the evening. Interested in a dozen of these eggs?  We charge $2.00/dozen.  Send me an email and if it is local and we can work out a regular drop off time, I'd be happy to accommodate your needs.

We are super excited about our most recent purchase!  25 additional ISA Brown Chicks were delivered this week, March 2010.  They are sooo cute and lay great big brown eggs...well someday they will. 

July 21, 2010.  Our very first brown egg from the new little girls we got in March!  The egg on the left is the new one and on the right is one from the girls who have been laying for about a year.  Exciting times!!

The ISA Brown is a French breed of chicken, which is a cross between Rhode Island Red and Rhode Island White chickens. ISA stands for Institut de Sélection Animale, the company which developed the breed in 1978 for egg production.  They lay brown eggs. 

The Minorcas are the largest of the Mediterranean Class and  are perhaps the finest examples of their class. They lay large white eggs.
