Meet a few of our happy  girls...

We have ISA Brown Chickens on our place here in Grants Pass.  They are very busy laying eggs and we are proud to provide a high quality product to our local community.  The girls are let out everyday, early in the morning and go into their coop in the evening.  We tried having them totally free-range, but we lost more than we had so we had to re-think that idea.  Interested in a dozen of these eggs?  We charge $2.50/dozen.  Send me an email and I can see if we have some available.  They are very popular and have several regular customers right now, but sometimes we have extras.  

The ISA Brown is a French breed of chicken, which is a cross between Rhode Island Red and Rhode Island White chickens. ISA stands for Institut de Sélection Animale, the company which developed the breed in 1978 for egg production.  They lay brown eggs. 

The Minorcas are the largest of the Mediterranean Class and  are perhaps the finest examples of their class. They lay large white eggs. We will be adding these again in the Spring 2012.
